Ebbe Nielsen

Uncle Ebbe passed away on March 16, 1967. This is the remaining part of his obituary.

He was the leader of the famous Doring Band for 30 years and a Troy alderman for the 15th ward for two terms.  He was a life time member of the Musicians Union and the Danish Brotherhood of North Troy, NY.  He was a vVeteran of WW I.  He was the husband of the late Mary J. Bailey Nielsen and father to John E Nielsen and brother to Charles, Mrs. Peter Beyer of Detroit, Mich., Mrs. Orton Virock of Oakland, Calif., and Mrs. Elmer Hart of East Syracuse.

He is buried in Oakwood Cemetary , Troy, Rensselaer County, New York.
