At the home of the brides parents Mr. Mrs Henry Horstman on Wednesday, Jun 11, occured the marriage of Mis Doris Horstman and Mr George Richardson which was solemnized at high noon To the strains of Mendelssohn wedding march, played by Mrs. Ballard, the young couple took their place before Rev. Travis who performed the marriage ceremony. The young bride was very charming in a gown of white charmussc over white silk, and carried a shower bouquet of brides roses. The house was profusly decorated with carnations and garden flowers. A four course luncheon was daintly served by Mrs. Herber Horstman and the Misses Ella Horstman and Nettie Hess. the happy couple left the parts unknown at two-thiry in a automoble but will probably take the train farther down the line.
Omaha and Lincoln being their destination where they will visit relatives of the groom. The bride who had been clerking for Chas E Brown and Son for the past two years, is the charming daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Horstman. She has made many friends who wish her many happy years. the groom is popular young merchant who was born and raised in Sibley, is a member of the firm of Hoeck and Richardson grocers. On their return they will be at home on Fourth Ave, where the groom has purchased a modern cottage which is ready for them.
