Louise Esther Escalante McPherson was the wife of Christopher Bryan McPherson a great great grandson of Trezevant Calhoun Hawpe.

On Sept 15, 2006 Louise Esther Escalante McPherson died peacefully at her home in Thousand Oaks. She was surrounded by her family. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Chris McPherson: son Scott McPherson; daughter Christalee McPherson Abreu and Erin McPherson; and her grandchildren, Angel, Katrina, Elizabeth and Adam.

Louise was an elementary school teacher and gymnastics coach of 15 years for Santa Paula School District.

She was also the daughter of Lorena Fernandez and Henry "Blackie" Escalante of the Flying Escalantes, a very will known circus during the 1930's though the 1960's.

Her memorial service will be held at noon Sunday, Sept 24, at Valley Oaks-Griffin Memorial Park, 5600 Lindero Canyon Road, Westlake Village, Calif.
