The "Perfect Baby"

| Decatur, Illinois

DECATUR DAILY REVIEW, Tuesday, December 30, 1924:

Jimmy Craycroft Goes Into Movies - Prize Baby Signs with United Artists

Miss Mary Sweeney received a telegram Tuesday morning from her sister, Mrs. Walter S. Craycroft, from Los Angeles stating that James Robert Craycroft, the latter's three-year-old son, has signed a contract to appear in motion pictures with the United Artists, a moving picture producing company. Further details were not given.

Mr. and Mrs. Craycroft left Decatur for California several weeks ago. Newspapers received here recently from Los Angeles carried stories and pictures of "Jimmy" Craycroft, who is nationally hailed as "the perfect baby."

The rise of Jimmy in the movie world will be awaited with interest by Decatur people. The Review played a prominent part in informing the world about his perfection, exhibiting him at the Illinois Products Exposition in Chicago last October.
