If this is who I think it is, he was a good friend of my father (Herbert 'Bud' Elmlund). Travis Hoover and Bud went to Junior College in Riverside, California. I'm sure dad said he visited Travis a couple of times in 'Joplin, MO', Joplin seems very close to 'Webb City'. I only met Travis once when he came to DC for the funeral of General 'Jimmy' Doolittle.
