Richard Manwaring

I remember going for walks to "the village" grocery store with Grandpa Manwaring when I was a little girl. He would make the walk an exciting adventure. A fence that was covered in vines was snakes, water in the gutter was a raging river, the curbs were cliffs that we had to scale. When we got to the store, we would buy an oversize "Texas" doughnut that we took home to cut up and share with the rest of the family.
