Scott McPike Dies Tuesday

Scott McPike, a resident of this area for 46 years, died Tuesday at the Veterans Hospital in Portland.  He was born April 14, 1889 in London, Ohio and was a former resident of 206 S. Second St.

Survivors include his wife Ruth of Silverton; daughter Mrs. Jean Beals of Los Angeles, Calif.; sister, Miss Lola McPike of Chicago, Ill.; six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and two nephews.

Services will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Unger's Funeral Chapel with interment in Valley View Cemetery.

Rev. Donald Colburn will officiate.
