Charles Henry Bivens

Springfield, Oregon

Uncle Chuck was born in Missouri in 1920 to Daniel W. and Harriet E. ( Garner ) Bivens. About 1928 he moved to Oregon with his family. He was a WW11 veteran and worked as a logger all his life. He married Doris Greenup after the war. They have two children, Luther ( Rocky ) and wife Michelle Bivens of Springfield, Or. and Helen Mason and her husband, Dick of Maine. They have numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. His wife Doris passed away in December of 1986. They were fantastic people and I am very PROUD to be related to them.                                                                                                                                                                                      Robert N.McElroy

I am proud to be related to them too! Grandpa and Grandma were the absolute kindest, loving people I have ever met. Not a single day goes by that I don't still miss them! I sincerely can't wait to show Mom this page so she can contribute too! We have pics and things that might be of interest to some.
