Sometimes when I wasn't rebelling, she was sober, and we needed new food, she would take me shopping.

The time I have most clear in mind was a special day. Why it was the way it was I can't remember. I just know that at eleven mother found me and my best friend and said "we are going shopping." We went to Fred Meyers and it was a blast. She made a game out of it for us. A list sat in her hands and she would give each of us an exact item. We had to go run find the item. Then run find her and give her it. Each run was a round. It lasted maybe an hour she chose to sit in the café for the whole thing. That is until the very last two items. She had left a note on the table. 'the last thing we need to get is the section im in'. This threw us through a loop we ran around and looked for her finally it clicked. I yelled "we need meat!" "the meat section!" latausha yelled. And indeed she was there. We dropped our cheese and milk in the cart then walked where we thought was the check out. Nope we marched into the toy section. We each got a my little pony doll then checked out. We put the groceries away and then mom led me out to the car. We said bye to my friend then went to the movie theater. We watched Ella enchanted. And then ate a dinner of burger king. When I got home my friend got to spend the night.

again I don't know why this day was the way it was but, I love my mother very much and… This day is so truly, what I imagine my mom was truly. Before the problems and bad stuff. I only wish I could have seen more
