We would spend a whole day at grandpa's house. We would talk, play basketball (i was the worst), grandma would make some lunch. If we got bored (rarely did) we would go to the bowling alley nearby. Grandma always had: chocolate donuts from ZCMI, fudge covered Oreos, creamies, Snelgroves ice cream, and mini cans of pop. She had mints and nuts in little bowls on top of the tv.

Frank made things fun. We were always laughing at his house. The first time I met him the grandkids were having an impromtu fashion show in the basement. We laughed till our sides hurt.
