DECORATIONS: European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal with 4 Bronze Star Devices, American Campaign Medal, Distinguished Unit Citation Badge, Good Conduct Medal with Clasp, and the WW II Victory Medal.

He married Helen A. Tiedeman May 12, 1946, at Russell, KS.
