November 27, 2009 — Cahokia, Ill
One of my grandfathers hobbies was gardening he was a clean freak he always kept his house inside and out spotless. The same was true for the Cahokia High School where he was a Bus Driver/custodian for many years he was very devoted to his wife Bea, Youthan and talked very little about his family. As a result I was never told any stories about them therefore I know very little and really need some help from anyone that could help. I remember my Mom telling me he attended College UMSL or Missouri State and he got awards for playing baseball there, that would explain why he used to Love to come to watch me play little league baseball so much. He also liked his cars as I remember his White on Red 1957 Ford Fairlane Sedan with it's big wings and all it's shiny moldings, he kept it clean as well. He really went out of his way to help out my mom when she and Dad got divorsed, buying the vacant house next door for us to live in. He had a special fondness for weeping willow trees and had a really beautiful one in his back yard for many years.
