In honor and memory of John Eddy Goard.

The Pictures and Records section contains a compiling of gathered information and records in honor of John Goad, 1 of approximately 140+ Goads that have been compiled that served in the Civil War. The intent was to create a lineage of all the Goads in the Civil War and then establish those battles they may have fought against each other. Five years later it blossomed into 1400+ pages and continues to grow as more information is located. The Memorial Page was a perfect way to share the information gathered with descendants of John Goad and to honor that soldier.

Note: Length of service was short (one month) and John was discharged for reasons unknown.
