Stair Henry De Ende was the son of Lt. Francis Hartman De Ende and Penelope Coupland.

Stair Henry De Ende was born on 22 Jan 1784 in Chatham, Kent County, England as the second child of Francis Hartman De Ende and Penelope Coupland.

He died on 29 May 1832 in New Orleans, Louisana.

Stair Henry De Ende never married Victorie Cavilier. She was his freed black slave who bore him seven known children.
Henry De Ende acknowledged the children as his own and named them in his will.

4. Maurice Alfred De Ende was born in 1822 in New Orleans, Louisana. He died in 1825 in New Orleans, Louisana.
5. Simon Bolivar De Ende was born on 04 Mar 1825. He died on 13 Oct 1851 in New Orleans, Louisana.
6. Benjamn Franklin De Ende was born on 14 Aug 1827 in Kent, England. He died in Nov 1878 in Houston, Harris County, Texas, Glenwood Cemetery.
7. Henry Marion De Ende was born in 1831. He died on 29 Oct 1832 in New Orleans, Louisana.
