Fred W. Curtis

Fred W. Curtis of 1901 Seventh Avenue died last night at the U. S. Veterans' Hospital, Saratoga Springs, after a brief illness. A native of Cohoes, he was the son of the late Fred W. and Catherine Haley Curtis. He was a veteran of World War I, having served with Company B, 105th Infantry on the Mexican Border and during the war. He was formerly employed at the Watervliet Arsenal. He lived for several years in Waterford and came to Troy to reside a number of years ago. Survivors include his widow, the former Mary McBride Little; a sister, Mrs. Fred J. Toohey, and several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be held Monday at 2:30 p.m. from the J. W. Burns' Sons, Inc., Fifth Avenue Funeral Chapel, and interment will be in Waterford Rural Cemetery.
