LUTHER L. WARD Luther Linwood Ward, 78, of Rt. 2, Edinburg died Oct. 9 at the Newton D. Baker Veterans Hospital in Martinsburg, W.Va. He was born May 24, 1894 in Shenandoah County and was a son of the late P. Luther and Ellen Evans Ward. He was a member of the Massanutten Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2477 in Edinburg. His closest survivors are a number of nieces and nephews. The funeral was conducted Oct. 12 at the Dellinger Funeral Home by the Rev. Alvin Master. Burial was in Cedarwood Cemetery in Edinburg. --Shen Her, Wed 18 Oct 72
