Goad of the Civil War

In honor and memory of Albert J. Goad.

The Pictures and Records section contains a compiling of gathered information and records in honor of Albert J. Goad (rev B), 1 of approximately 140+ Goads that have been compiled that served in the Civil War. The intent was to create a lineage of all the Goads in the Civil War and then establish those battles they may have fought against each other. Five years later it blossomed into 1000+ pages and continues to grow as more information is located. The Memorial Page was a perfect way to share the information gathered with descendants of Albert J. Goad and to honor that soldier.

Note: The entry of the 20th Arkansas is a high probability yet may be that of another Goad - please read the notes within the complied pages in the Pictures and Records section - page 5. Any information that can be provided will be appreciated.

Don Goad

Great Grandson to James Fountain Goad, 45th Virginia Infantry
