This info on the battle Operation Dragoon relates to the stories told by A P of the Mediterranean Theater. He was not in Iceland or South Carolina. A P, also known as "Mac", was a Radioman Technician and ended up at Boston General Hospital for sinus surgery February 1945.

A P married in June 1945 and lived in Camden, NJ. He worked at the Mid - Atlantic Region of the Westinghouse Co. He was transferred to Ft. Worth, Texas in 1950, to Corpus Christi in 1952 and finally to San Antonio in 1953. Here he raised his family and worked as an Electrical Manufacturers Representative for the Jack Morgan Co. He loved the opportunity to travel through the many small towns included in his territory. A P also made lifelong friends as he loved talking to people of all ages and cultures. He enjoyed taking the family across the Mexican border, swimming in the Texas Gulf and the ride to New Braunfels for ice cream!
