Ross Hardie Robinson was a Corporal in Company B, 508th Engineers, of the American Expeditionary Forces.  He died of disease, in Chaumont,  Haute-Marne, Champagne-Ardenne, France while  in the service of his country.  Corp. Robinson was born in a small town in Lonoke County, Arkansas, the son of Cumberland Leslie Robinson and Florence Emma Walls Robinson.  He never married.

Ross Hardie Robinson is one of the namesakes of Criswell-Robinson American Legion Post 71 in Cabot, AR.  Ross is in the back row, far right in the group picture, marked as taken in France.  Picture came from the collection at Lonoke County Museum.
