Harrison “Bird” Little (1921-2001) at the age of twenty-one was inducted into the U.S Army as a private, following the Attack on Pearl Harbor. He spent most of his service in a Ground Forces Engineering regiment in England, France, Italy and the Aleutian Islands receiving the Good Conduct Medal, European African Middle Eastern Ribbon, and the World War II Victory Ribbon. He was honorably discharged from the U.S. Army as a Sergeant in 1945.
