Stories

I never got to meet my Uncle Nicky because he died before I was born.  Uncle Nocky was 19 years old when he went off to war.  He was a medic.  He was first reported as MIA and then later the Army changed it to KIA.  The report indicated that they found evidence of his death.  We never found out what the evidence was.  His body was never recovered.  His name is inscribed on the Walls of the Missing in The Normandy American Cemetery and Memorial in France.
