Stories

Abraham J. Korn is interred at JNBC with four other members of his crew. However, the bodies were burned so badly we are not for sure who is who within the grave. I have recently been contacted by JPAC and hopefully we can find out more about my cousin and the other crew members.

397thBG, B-26 PFC Abraham Korn, KIA 23 Dec.'44

Germany

397th Bomb Group, 596th Bomb Squad, B-26 Marauder Medium Bombers, Combat over Germany.  PFC Abraham J Korn was a Toggler Bombardier on the B-26 "Bank Nite Betty" #42-96144 on that sad and fateful day that they were hit by Flak in Germany as they approached theTarget.

Information and stories from Ryan Leo Korn, first cousin once removed of PFC Abraham J. Korn.  Ryan's Grandpa-Leo was Abraham's nephew.  Grandpa-Leo also served during WWII (more to come).

God Bless our brave men. Barbi Ennis Connolly
