Stories

By the end of the 1880s, Tasker Howard Bliss had taught at both the United States Military Academy and the Naval War College, a rare example of inter-branch service education. But perhaps the greatest claim to fame of Bliss was his inclusion among the five men who led the American delegation to negotiate peace in Versailles in 1919 to end the First World War. The others were President Woodrow Wilson, Edward M. House, Robert Lansing, and Henry White.
