Steve Wasilkowski, 75, of 408 Lehigh Ave., Palmerton, Pennsylvania died Tuesday, Dec. 15, 1988 in Palmerton Hospital. He was the husband of Valeria B. (Mihalik) Wasilkowski. They were married for 50 years in July.
He was a foreman in the repair department of the former New Jersey Zinc Co. for 42 years before retiring in 1985.
Born in Palmerton, he was a son of the late Ivan and Stella (Hubinsky) Wasilkowski.
He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Palmerton.
He was an Army veteran of World War II, having been a staff sergeant in the Black Hawk Division Infantry.
Survivors: Wife; a daughter, and a son, brothers, Michael, Charles and George, all of Walnutport, Peter of Emmaus and Andrew of Slatington, five grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
