Lt Franklin Darrel was a Lt. Bombardier in a B 25 Mitchell in the MTO, the 321st Bomb Group, 447thBomb Squadron, Corsica.  He was shot down, 6 Feb. 1945, His Capt and Co-Pilot both stayed with the ship (B 25 Mitchell) until all the men got our safely.
