One of the most outstanding fine men I have ever knew!

Richard got me started in the avation world in 1985. He was able to convince me that I could earn a private pilots license. Something that I never though could be possible!.

Richard tought many student pilots at Tamiami Airport, Miami, FL for several years.

He passed away in 1989 when ferrying an aircraft back from Central or South America. I cannot find the report, but remember the phone call I received from a fellow private pilot. The unofficial report was that there was fuel contamination and his plane crashed.

It's now been 30+ years that I have been lucky enough to have been an Air Force air traffic controller and an airfield management specialists. And my aviation career was a possible through meeting Richard!
