Miss Doris E Hill, Red Cross /WWII

Doris was a Red Cross Worker during WWI on Corsica, France in the MTO. She worked with the Men of the 57th Bomb Wing.  Please see links under the Map. These B-25 Mitchell Crews bombed Africa/Italy/Germany/France in the Mediterranean Theatre.

DALLAS — Doris E. Hill, 82, died Monday, May 22, 2000, at a Dallas hospital.

Services are 11 a.m. today at Albany Cemetery with the Rev. David Mallory
officiating, directed by Godfrey-Neese Funeral Home.

Miss Hill was born in Albany. She graduated from Albany High School and
Baylor University. She owned and operated VOIDCO in Dallas and served in the
Red Cross in Italy during WWII. She was a Presbyterian.

Survivors include one brother Bill Hill and his wife, Betty, of Albany;
numerous nieces and nephews.
