Monday, August 31, 2009   Remembering Posted for: JOHN WALTER LUTTRELL: JOHN, WE ENJOYED CLASSES TOGETHER AND A CLOSE FRIENDSHIP. HOW STRANGE THAT THE ONLY OTHER STUDENT FROM LAKE ZURICH HIGH SCHOOL TO BE KILLED IN VIET NAM WAS MY BROTHER JOE,WHO JOINED THE ARMY IN MARCH 1970. THE SAME MONTH WE LOST YOU. YOU STILL REMAIN IN MY MEMORY, HEART AND IN MY PRAYERS. THANKS JOHN, FOR YOUR SERVICE AND ULTIMATE GIFT TO ALL THE CITIZENS IN THIS COUNTRY.

Friday, December 22, 2006   Remembering Posted for: JOHN WALTER LUTTRELL: I went to school at the church you are buried at. I was 10 at the time. I knew your neice and brothers. The day you where buried the sun was shining as if God was opening his gates for you. I knew you hade been killed in Nam. I went and said my respects and prayers after everyone had left. I will carry that day with me as long as I live. I want to say that you where brave. A awsome soldier. You fought for us and gave the ultimate sacrafice. God bless you John and you will never be forgotten. Posted by: Tammy
