Carlos was born in Mexico. His parents were Esteban Serrato,born abt.1853 and Eugenia Macias (maiden name) born abt.1862 .

Carlos was married on 17 Dec 1919, Brownsville Texas to Guadalupe Sanchez (maiden name) born on 12 Dec 1908. 

They had 2 sons, Francisco and Ernesto Macias and one daughter, Josephine Garcia (maiden name Macias). Both Francisco and Josephine have pass away.

I am his grand-daughter Aurora Happ, the daughter of Ernesto Macias.  I lived in San Antonio, Texas.

Carlos and Guadalupe are buried in a cemetery in Corpus Christi, Texas.
