Marion Josephine COLE was my aunt, youngest daughter of Newton F. Cole adn Jessie E. Pritchard. This information matches her birthdate. Place of death is listed as Vicksburg, MS, but that is where her son was living and she may have resided there the last months of her life.
Marion M. Brown is probably her latest official name for Marion Mathias Brown. Her full name would be 'Marion Josephine Cole Mathias Brown'.
1st Marriage: Venon B. Mathias. 12 Oct 1943. Married by base Chaplin at Perry Army Airfield, at Perry, FL. Two children. He died in late 1940's or early 1950's. She remained a single Mother for 30 years and ran a grocery store in Cruger, MS.
2nd Marriage: June Brown, Spring 1973. This husband died and soon after that Marion Brown died in 1999. I think they lived in Belzoni, MS but there are records of her living in Vicksburg.
