Notes

Private First Class Brummett was a member of the 937th Field Artillery Battalion, I Corps. He was Killed in Action while fighting the enemy in North Korea on June 12, 1951. Private First Class Brummett was awarded the Purple Heart, the Korean Service Medal, the United Nations Service Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, the Korean Presidential Unit Citation and the Republic of Korea War Service Medal.

He and Fred Rose Jr. were ambushed and killed by unknowns. He was one of our Reserve fillers and joined us at Camp [Fort] Hood Texas.
