Corporal Harold Earl Coen (39047471) was a Radio Operator in the US Army Air Forces, 3rd Photographic Squadron, 311th Reconnaissance Wing during World War II. He was awarded the Air Medal and the Purple Heart.

On a mission to photograph bomb damage in Tokyo on 09 Dec 1944, the F13-A airplane ran out of fuel and ditched into the ocean about 100 miles northwest of Saipan, Northern Mariana Islands. Despite an extensive search, none of the 11 crew members were found.
