The Samples had nine chldren: Elizabeth Juliana; Nathaniel W.; Mary Ann; Joseph Cowan; John Cunningham; Wm. Montgomery; Jas. Latta; Samuel Turbett; and Nancy Caroline. For 40 years, he was pastor of Leacock Presbyerian and other Presbyterian churches in northern Lancaster Co., PA.
