Daughter of Sgt. James and Mary (Carmichael) Moore of E. TN. She married first Ninian Chamberlain (aft. 1782-1811), son of John and Hannah (Lackey) Chamberlain, of Blount Co., TN, and second Stephen McBroom (1784-1854), of Grainger Co., TN. Stephen and Hannah moved to Madison Co., AL, where they had eight children: Wm. Calvin; John Anthony; Jas. Thomas; Nancy Mary; Sary Ann; Josephine Moore; Christopher Columbus; and Elender Jane. The couple settled in Gurleyville, Madison Co., AL. After the Civil War, she filed an unsuccessful claim with the Southern Claims Commission.
