16 Mar 1945 - enlisted in Coast Guard (Great Lakes only) - discharged 4 Jun 1945
15 Nov 1945 - Enlisted in Army Air Forces
21 Jan 1946 - Sheppard Field, TX
15 Apr 1946 - to 10 May 1946, Air Chemical School, San Antonio, TX
23 Aug 1946 - shipped to Philippines, arriving 1 Sep. Clark Field, Manila.
1 Mar 1947 - promotion to Corporal
29 Apr 1947 - extended reenlistment of 21 Jan 1946 to 3 years from that date
26 Jan 1948 - redesignated from Ammunition Handler (901) to Ammunition Supply Techn (505)
1 Mar 1948 - promotion to Sergeant
23 Oct 1948 - Castle AFB, Merced CA. Honorable Discharge on that date.
24 Oct 1948 - reenlisted for 3 years
2 Feb 1950 - completed Supply Clerk Course, Castle AFB
12 Dec 1950 - promotion to Staff Sergeant, Castle AFB & additional cert. issued @ Fairford ENG 1 Jul 1956
23 Oct 1951 - honorably discharged
1 Jun 1952 - promotion to Technical Sergeant, dated 6 Apr 1959, Castle AFB

14 Oct 1960 - completed "ADS 46350-12 Mating of Warhead GAM-77" course, Lowry AFB, Denver CO
25 Jan 1961 - completed "GAM-72A Weapons Maintenance Supervisors Course AMF 46270-22" Ramey AFB, PR
21 Sep 1961 - completed HS Certificate of Equivalency, Ramey AFB Schools, Ramey AFB, PR
bef 11 Dec 1962 - promotion to Senior Master Sergeant
11 Dec 1962 - honorably discharged
1965 - stationed in Florida
19 Oct 1965 - Retired
"Ret. Sr Master Sgt in the USAF [24 Mar 1975]" This may have been his retirement from the Castle AFB PBX, where he worked after he retired from regular service.
