William T. Babcock, 93, of Lawrence died on Monday November 25, 2013 at his home. Mr. Babcock was born in Cambridge, MA. and was raised and educated in Cambridge and Somerville. He lived in Revere, MA. for many years before moving to Lawrence to live with his granddaughter, Lisa. He served with The US Army Air Corps during WW II. Before retirement, he worked at The Charlestown Navy Shipyard. Bill loved traveling and spending time with and helping the elderly and the disabled.

The widower of Eleanor Babcock, he leaves 2 sons, Edward Frank of Framingham, MA. and William T. Babcock of Texas. He also leaves 5 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren and was pre-deceased by his daughter, Eleanor Barchard.

There are no calling hours. Graveside services will be on Tuesday December 3, 2013 at 11:00 am in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery, 185 Lake Street, Peabody, MA.
