PFC Ralph Cozza Liberated by the Americans

Kingston, New York

Item in the Kingston Freeman 27 Apr. 1945:  Ralph Cozza liberated by the Americans. Mrs. Jenevieve Cozza, 20 Abruyn St. has received a letter from her husband, PFC. Ralph Cozza, who has been reported Missing in Action since Jan. 30.  He states that he was a prisoner of war, but has been released.  He is in the best of health and back in the fighting lines with his old buddies.  Pfc. Cozza is in the infantry and has been overseas since last September.

Item in the Kingston Freeman Newspaper, 20 March, 1964: Army Spec. 5 Ralph J. Cozza, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph A. Cozza, 40 North Street, participated in field training exercises King Neptune IV, an Allied Land Forces Southern Europe exercise ending Mar. 6 at Verona, Italy.  Spec. Cozza plays the french horn in the 49th Army band in Italy.  Cozza entered the Army in April, 1944 and has been overseas since Sept. 1962.
