Emmitt Lee Smith
When Emmitt was drafted, he nor his family knew that WWll was so close to being over. He answered the call, on July 5, 1945, leaving his wife and two young children. After "Basic", he ended up in Honolulu, Hawaii...at Pearl Harbor. This is his Navy history.
