Eldest daughter of Ninian and Jennet Chamberlain. Wife of Lewis Edwards, of Claiborne Co., TN, whom she married on 29 Jan. 1807. A marriage contract (indenture) was drawn up and signed on the same day. Mary and Lewis were divorced by an act of the TN General Assembly on 22 Apr. 1809.
