Addison Newel Chamberlain. He was the eldest son of Samuel Chamberlain (1788-1865) and Mercy Cotton (1792-1880), and the husband of Emma Riggs (1838-1888). He and Emma were the parents of two daughters, Harriet E. (Hattie) and Ann J. (Nettie Amelia). Addison was a farmer and served as commissioner of highways.
