Ninian Alfred Chamberlain. (First name often spelled "Ninyon.") Son of Jeremiah J. and Elizabeth (Carrigan) Chamberlain, of Knox Co., TN. Ninian and Alice were married in Knox Co., TN, on 26 Dec. 1886. After living for a short time in E. TN, they moved to Fannin Co., TX. (According to the accompanying news item, Ninian also spent several years in Caldwell Co. in his early years.) Besides sons Eustace and Pernie, the couple had a daughter called Sybil, who married a man by the name of Dewey Taylor. Ninian apparently won land in Tillman Co., OK, in the OK land lottery.
