AI JAY Clemons .5 (Alexander4 - John3 - J~hn2 – Isaac l) was born at Marblehead, Ohio, 17 Jun 1850. He was a Civil War Veterann. On 20 Oct 1875 he married Flora LeVake who was teaching school at Marblehead and living with her sister, Mrs. H. M. CleT11ons. Ai Clemons was a blacksmith for some time and later spent many years in the employ of the Kelley Island Lime and Transport Co. With his twin brothers, Ai received the first medal by the U. S. Government for life saving. He died 18 May 1923.
