He was the first Irish Catholic to become a Captain on the Boston Police Force c. 1903. He was father to my Grandfather, (David Robert O'Lalor), who fought in WWI, although injured, he fathered my Father. Robert David O'Lalor. My Father fought in WWII. Received a medal from the French, rode secret battle plans to the front in a motorcycle with his German Shepherd in the Sidecar.
