Nathaniel Cooper Kersey

Jefferson Co, FL

Nathaniel Cooper Kersey, my great, great, great grandfather's little brother, was 14 or 15 when he ran away from his home in Jefferson Co, FL, to join the 16th Partisian Rangers (13th Brigade GA Volunteer Calvary). He was captured and imprisoned in Illinois, and died as a prisoner of war.

God Bless him.
