Deloris Radant, 81, Hazelhurst, died Tuesday, April 12, 2005 at the home of her daughter in Rhinelander.
She was born August 28, 1923 in Wausau, daughter of the late Richard and Marie (Schmidt) Schubring. On July 4, 1941, she married Floyd R. Radant in Wausau. He preceded her in death on October 28, 2001.
Deloris was a homemaker and partner with her husband at Radant Insurance Agency, Wausau. She enjoyed her bridge groups, swimming and spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Deloris was a member of the Bear Lake Association.
Survivors include three children, Carol (Edward) Wambold, Rhinelander; Deidre (William) Schael-Rassch, Wausau and Albert (Janelle) Radant, Mosinee; seven grandchildren, Alan (Heather) Wambold, Wayne (Jennifer) Wambold, John (Andrea) Wambold, Denise (Phumelele) Schael-Gama, Amy (William) Schael-Mattle, Bradley (Roberta) Raasch and Christopher (Angie) Raasch; 14 great grandchildren; two sisters, Ruth Reetz and Ione Meyers, five brothers, Dale Schubring, Gordon (Mavis) Schubring, Lyle (Linda) Schubring, Allan (Margaret) Schubring, and Terry (Barbara) Schubring.
Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Carmin Carpenter and Phyllis Krohn; four brothers, Maynard, Rodney, Kenneth and Fredrich Schubring.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 16, 2005 at St. Stephen Lutheran Church, Wasuau. Rev. Dr. Michael Meranda and Rev. James Primley will officiate. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Friends may call from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday at the Peterson/Kramer Funeral Home, 3400 Stewart Avenue, Wausau and again from 9:30 a.m. Saturday until the time of services at the church.
