Leonard E Wahl

Leonard E Wahl my grandfather, passed away when I was fairly young.  A story that was shared by my father was a funny one about his father.   It was on the day of a family vacation, my dad his brother and his parents Leonard and Charlotte, who became widowed after he died.   My grandfather gave my father a chore to do before leaving on their trip and he forgot.  He was to empty the ice dispenser.  When they arrived home my grandfather wanted a drink and the ice in the freezer, but there was no ice. So my grandfather being the man he is, takes the ice dispenser and yanks it out and throws it down and takes an ice pick and starts to shave frost off the side of the freezer into a glass for his drink.  That's just as funny as it gets to knowing my grandfather, Leonard Wahl.
