CANTON, IL - Yewell "Tuck" Harvey Wilkins, 91, of 129 S. 1st, Canton, passed away Wednesday, January 10, 2007 at 3:00 pm at Sunset Manor, Canton.

Born May 8, 1915, in Leitchfield, Kentucky to Estill E. and Marybell B. (Rolland) Wilkins, he married Ruth M. Henry on Nov. 29, 1975 in Bryant, IL. She preceded him in death.

Surviving are two sons, Mike Wilkins of Hephzibah, GA and Richard (Edie) Hamilton of Canton; three daughters, Lucy (Ed) Lightle of Bryant, Nancy Coulston of Glendale, AZ and Delores (Gary) Southwood of Canton; several grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren.

Preceding him in death were his parents, four sons, Leonard Wilkins, Harvey Wilkins, John Hamilton and Bill Hamilton; one daughter, Diana Joyce Ajenjo; one great-granddaughter, Brittany Carley and one brother.

He was a truck driver, retiring in 1983 and also a part time bus driver for Lewistown School District #97. He was a member of the Peoria Masonic Lodge, Shriners and Canton VFW Post #1984. He was an Army veteran serving in WWII.

Graveside services will be Monday, January 15th at 11:15 am at Maryville Cemetery, Bryant, IL with Rev. Stacy Tomich officiating. A family visitation will be Monday, Jan. 15th from 10 to 11 am at Murphy-Sedgwick Memorial Home, Canton. Military rites will be at the graveside. Memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children Hospital, Midwest Affiliate.
