Sometime between 1923 and 1926 Les Eickhoff and A. E. "Bake" Staup became co-owners of this barbershop on the south side of East Main Street between First and Second Streets in Tipp City.  He was still barbering here when he had his fatal heart attack.   Betty Barnhart Eickhoff also worked here during the month that they sold driver's licenses  and automobile tags.  In those days everyone got their license at the same time of year.  In the back room of the building was a big steam press where Don Barnhart, Betty's brother, worked pressing clothes for customers.
