The frighten time came at 9/11 he was in the California Desert on a Tank exercise . We were not able to talk to him and so upset he would ship out right then. We history will tell you  that it unfolded months after that.

He worked on tanks and was a diesel mechanic and and crew member.

He went in right after high school .
