Enlisted in the Women`s Army Corps on 9/8/1944. She served as a stenographer at Ashford General Hospital in West Virginia. Married Ralph Allenberg, whom she met in the service, and moved to California. Buried in the family plot Hilltop Cemetery, Oak Hill, WV
